How to Calculate Variance and Standard Deviation
What do you mean with the process not being centered?
The process should be centered around the upper and lower specification limit
That's great
You're welcome!
Hi Andy, i have seen a scenario where If PP and PPK fail to achieve the minimum requirement e.g. 1.67 but CP and CPK passes. The big factor is the tolerance is so small it doesn't leave much room for any process variation as PP and PPK is long term. What are your thoughts on this due to tight tolerances?
Hello Andy, Thanks for the video. I wanna know one thing if we take multiple samples and run them for specific hours what will be the operation cycle in that case in the MTTF formula or failure rate formula. will it be the (duration for which we run those samples) or (samples multiplied by duration for which we run the samples)
What a great lecture!, This has summarized my QA tools lecture which was taught in 5 different lectures, Awesome tuts.
Glad it was helpful!
The video is not displaying but I can hear the sound. Do you have other source where you have this video? It would be really helpful
Amazing explanation! thank you so much <3
You're very welcome!
Hey Andy! Have my exam tomorrow, the cheat sheet I can use as long as it’s whole punched in the folder right?
Very nice information. Thanks Sir.
Most welcome!
Hi Andy, on your discussion for u-chart, your UCL/LCL has n-bar but in other books I see its n(i), not n-bar. Could you clarify?
Thanks a lot. I am so grateful to you
You're most welcome
Really like your videos Andy. A good blend of theory and practice and always clearly communicated. Thank you.
Glad you like them!
Loved the coverage of important aspects and how and at what place they are used in the industry processes. Thanks Andy!
You're welcome!
A very good into video, a great follow-up video would be a deeper dive into each tool.
Great suggestion!
great
How do you know to default to general inspection level II and not I or III?
That default is defined in the ANSI standard
What a simple way of explaining all these QC tools!!
Thanks!
Thank-you so much brother for your advice
Always welcome
This video was REALLY helpful and detailed, thanks
Glad it was helpful!
GREAT
You're welcome!
Hello Andy, please let me ask a very elementry question. If we want to increase Cpk value we should increase the numerator of that fraction. Since the specification limits are directly influenced by customer how to increase it? Thanks.
Decreasing the variation on the denomimator. I guess.☺️
This was an EXCELLENT summary to watch before my Quality Management exam! Thank you so much🙌
Glad it was helpful!
Super nice explanation with a practical example thank you! I only miss one minor point the stated Phase of PDCA or DMAIC per Quality Tool. You only say it specifically at 1. Flow Chart. Maybe someone could typ them as a reaction.
Great explanation!!Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you Very much❤
You're welcome!
Walter A shewhart was the founder of the PDCA cycle, and Deming made it popular by naming it the PDSA cycle.
Is there a global certification for FMEA?
Great video! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Your the best teacher ❤❤❤
Thanks so much!
Hi Sir, In order to qualify under the education credntial waiver, Do we require to possess education in quality related program? I have a master's degree in Industrial engineering from an US university. But its not a Quality engineering perse. Please clarify?
If our LSL is - what will do
Process capabilities are not always normally distributed. Could be but NOT. WHY? It’s a part of production and operation management with an ultimate goal to finish the processing MOST efficiently with ZERO defect. A whole lot sub functions are in question and MUST work smoothly to end a process. Could be a ONE time process or a PERPETUAL process. BE careful of its SIDE effects related to fatigue and boredom.
Excellent video!
Thanks!
I have struggled with this concept for a while, and now get the basics to move forward again. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
All I can say is excellent content and presentation.
Thank you so much!
That was seriously very helpful.
I'm glad you liked it!
Excellent learning!! with the help of your videos, thank you, & God bless you!!

Thanks
You're welcome!
Excellent !! great , Thank you!! do you have all the formulas sheet for calculating control charts values
Don’t you think that Methods includes Management and Machines Maintenance?
Helpful. In kenya, we say, "Asante kwa kazi nzuri."
Amazing content thanks!
Thank you!
Excellent❤❤❤, One question What if we have different tolerance for each subgroup, For example for subgroup 1 we have +/-2 and for subgroup 2, +/-3 and so on, Have we calculate process capability in this condition?❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great video, nice and straight to the point. Thank you 😃
Thank you!
why did u added 14x1000
I have one thing to add for the MTTF, I believe it should be divided by the total number of units and not the total number of failures. The reason is the units that did not fail should also be included in the mean calculation. The hours of those units were already included when the summation of operational hours was added so it should be counted.
3:24 "don't try to do this in some software". this one seems funny to me....
Amazing explanation!
Thanks!
Time stamp - 9:30 Do we not do a "X bar S chart" for this one since our subgroup size is more than 8?
